⁉️Interesting headline from CNN “AI is replacing human tasks faster than you think”🤖Summary: Over half of large US firms plan to use AI within the next year to automate tasks previously done by employees, including financial reporting and creative tasks like crafting job posts and writing press releases.🏢Companies are turning to AI to cut costs, boost profits, and make workers more productive, with nearly 60% of all companies having already leaned on AI to automate tasks employees previously did.💰While AI adoption is expected to disrupt some jobs in the future, experts believe it will be more about job transformation and co-piloting with AI rather than mass job loss in the short run.https://lnkd.in/gSpv_UkX

It's insanity to me that people are automating writing job descriptions. You pay a recruiter $30k and are going to pay that employee a couple hundred k. It's like buying a house. But you can't be bothered to take an hour to craft a good JD?As I interview, people often ask how I hired 27 people in a year. Well, first was having a great team of hiring managers. But we put a lot of work into those JDs and you could see the difference. After being purchased, company policy required the generic blurb about the company to be first, with the actual job details buried underneath. It was amazing how the quality of applications fell off.

🗓️Another day, another AI model update.➡️Now Anthropic is releasing Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Early benchmarks show some solid results. I’ll be testing this weekend to see if it will make the GuardRailz rotation.💻That said, #anthropic is still missing the power of OpenAI’s assistants feature.
